Anyway, I'd like to put your photo of the small-eyed snake on our Landcare flora & fauna web pages, if I may (acknowledging you as 'author'). Kath told me that the species was recorded, but I didn't know a pic existed.

Would that be OK with you?

Bert

The url is http://www.natureweb.org.au/index.php?title=Reptiles_of_the_Strathbogie_TablelandBerthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05626147031322672355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-365536801130153911.post-19962583349512086402010-05-05T03:48:28.467-07:002010-05-05T03:48:28.467-07:00Very informative write-up. I thought only one male was there. Your blog gives me some idea.
Still, a doubt arises in my mind... if each group of Superb Fairy Wren consists of a breeding pair, and some subordinate males, then there should be some imbalance of gender in Superb Fairy Wren’s population (with many males to one female in a group).
Any clue?Vijayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04927545958764162877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-365536801130153911.post-3221950594011128732009-11-20T19:09:32.968-08:002009-11-20T19:09:32.968-08:00Ben, I can just see you toting an echidna around i...Ben, I can just see you toting an echidna around in an oversized handbag, like Paris Hilton with her chihuahua.Rhianna Boylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07820831825856740774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-365536801130153911.post-86521171460525656092009-11-20T00:46:06.410-08:002009-11-20T00:46:06.410-08:00Rhianna, this was really terrific. If you had been my high-school biology teacher — offering fun, educational, adorable lessons in wildlife — maybe I would have been more engaged in science ... and a whole less stupid.

BRAVO.

P.S. I can get an echidna at a pet store, right? They seem pretty awesome.Benjamin Lawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05147330281014055548noreply@blogger.com
